Early Childhood Educator | Casual & Part Time
VanHomes offers a unique company childcare program for the children of our employees.
With around six children attending each day, our educators have the time to genuinely engage with each child, build strong relationships and create enjoyable learning experiences.
Work with a small, supportive team of educators that values collaboration and current ideas.
The Role:
Our program cares for a small group of children aged 6 months to 6 years, with school-aged children also joining us during school holiday periods.
We are looking for Casual and Part-Time Educators, with ***** hours per week available, with shifts scheduled Monday to Friday between 6:30am and 5:15pm.
Pay Rates
Casual: $*****–$***** per hour + super
Permanent Part-Time: $*****–$***** per hour + super
Rates are dependent on qualifications and experience.
Job Description:
As a childcare educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care for children.
You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the children under your supervision.
Your duties will include:
Supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities, games and crafts.
Implementing and conducting activities from the curriculum.




Responding promptly and appropriately to children's needs and behaviour.
Maintaining a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and cleaning up throughout the day.
Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers regarding their child's activities and well-being.
Caring for children aged 0–5 during the school term and children aged 5–12 during school holidays.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care (completed or studying)
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
