They specialise in a diverse portfolio of asset finance, including Floorplan, Distribution, Dealership Stock, Caravan, Marine, Motorbike, Agriculture, Heavy Machinery, and Consumer/Retail finance.
To support their continued growth, they are introducing a newly created role for a switched-on, experiencedConsumer/Retail Senior Credit Analystto join their established & close-knit Commercial Credit team in a dynamic and supportive head office environment.
Hours:Onsite, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Remuneration:$110K - $120K + Super + yearly Bonus (on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Credit Assessment:Critically evaluate business financials (P&L;, balance sheets, tax returns, and cash flow statements) to determine creditworthiness
Delegated Authority:Utilise a minimum Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) of $100K for consumer credit analysis
Compliance & Regulation:Maintain a robust application of the Australian regulatory environment, specifically NCCP and Responsible Lending obligations
Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with Sales and Enablement teams to assess risk and determine credit actions, as well as handle ad-hoc credit and risk queries
Reporting & Governance:Assist with reporting requirements for the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and the Compliance & Risk Committee




Credit Memos:Prepare detailed credit memos and present structured terms, conditions, and recommendations to senior management and credit committees
Continuous Improvement:Contribute to the development, review, and ongoing optimisation of credit policies and procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring a sharp analytical mind, a collaborative spirit, and a proven track record in asset finance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience:Minimum 3+ years of experience in credit analysis across consumer/retail asset finance lending.
Commercial experience is a plus
DLA:Proven track record working with a DLA of $100K+
Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance (preferred), Business, or Commerce
Analytical Acumen:Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and solve complex numerical problems
Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present structured recommendations to senior stakeholders
Technical Skills:Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills considered a strong asset
Work Management:Superior attention to detail with the ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and maintain a "can-do" team attitude
