Queensland Department of Youth Justice and Victim Support – South Brisbane QLD
Demonstrate cultural capability and/or a commitment to developing cultural capability to ensure an inclusive culture that aligns with the Human Rights Act **** and supports departmental programs and community partnerships aimed at preserving cultural connections for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Undertakes evidence-based decision making in accordance with the Victims of Crime Assistance Act ****.
Delivers quality and responsive services to clients through the application of Victim Assist resources, policies, processes, systems and technologies.
Responsible for the case-management of applications for financial assistance, including accurate record-keeping, and providing mentoring as required.




Takes responsibility for completion of work and seeks guidance when required.
Communicates effectively and creates trusting relationships with a range of stakeholders including other departmental business units and the non-government sector, ensuring the effective and productive delivery of Victim Assist services.
Contributes to a high performing team, collaborates with others, displays motivation, and shares and encourages innovative ideas.
Identifies and implements ways to continually improve services, though sharing and seeking creative ideas, suggestions and data to inform the effective delivery of services.
