Summary:
Electrical Trade Assistants wanted for ongoing work across Dorrigo and Bellingen Hospitals.
$30–$36/hr depending on experience.
Immediate availability and reliability are the key requirements.
Job Description:
We are currently looking for reliable Electrical Trade Assistants to join project teams working across Dorrigo and Bellingen Hospitals.
There is ongoing work available, with the potential for further opportunities for strong performers.
We don't need a long list of qualifications.
We're looking for people who turn up, work hard, use common sense and are happy to get stuck in and help the trades on site.
Pay Rate:
$30–$36 per hour, depending on experience.
Hours:
Approximately 7:00am – 3:30pm, although start and finish times may vary depending on site requirements.
The Role Duties may include:
Assisting tradespeople on site
Moving and preparing materials
Using basic hand and power tools




Site set-up and clean-up
Assisting with installation works
Following instructions from trades and supervisors
Maintaining a secure and tidy work area
What We're Looking For:
Reliable and able to turn up every day
Good work ethic
Practical common sense
Comfortable working in a construction environment
Able to follow instructions
Physically capable of carrying out general site duties
White Card preferred
Previous construction or Trade Assistant experience will be highly regarded
Own transport will be beneficial due to the project locations
Electricians: We would also be interested in hearing from qualified electricians who are available for work in the area.
