Registered Nurse, Coronary Care, Cardiology and Respiratory
An exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse with a strong interest in and a commitment to nursing, to join our very experienced and dedicatedteam on Ward 2D - Cardiology, Coronary Care and Respiratory.

Where you'll be working
Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital's Cardiology, Coronary Care and Respiratory ward is a 24-bed service with an 8 bed CCU.
The ward caters for acute Medical, Cardiology and Respiratory patients that require close and cardiac monitoring.
The department offers supported learning and career development with a rotating roster including weekends and night shifts.
What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse applicant you will be working in a busy ward environment, caring for adult patients with a wide spectrum of Medical, Cardiac and Respiratory presentations.
You will be working within an amazing team of health professionals, all working as a multi disciplinary team to provide the best health care for our community.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the greater health care team to achieve quality patient care outcome.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development.
Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the Registered Nurse.
