Job Description
About the Role: Seeking a Lab Cleaner for a Pharmaceutical Manufacturer based in Carole Park (QLD, ****). This is a consistent, casual full-time position, Monday through Friday 6am – 2pm, for approximately 12-months with potential for extension.

Duties:
n
n
Clean glassware as per procedures and return laboratory glassware to their designated locations.
n
Maintaining clean laboratory sinks, benches and washbays.
n
Solvent handling/waste disposal.
n
Keeping inventory of broken glassware and cleaning supplies, and arranging reordering.
n
Adhering to cleaning schedules - basic data entry.
n
Must be comfortable to lift up to 10kg.
n
n
Please note this role requires candidates to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and international police checks.

Skills & Experience:
n




The successful candidate MUST have the following:
n
n
Experience working in a GMP facility is highly desirable.
n
1-2 years of domestic and/or commercial cleaning experience.
n
Great chemical awareness.
n
Previous training and/or qualifications in chemical handling/safety is highly advantageous.
n
Excellent attention to detail.
n
Positive attitude to your work and desire to do a great job.
n
Current license and own vehicle.
n
Must have unlimited work rights – must be able to work 38 hours a week.
