Achieve Lending Solutions has relocated to Townsville, but the client base is still Gold Coast-focused — a decade spent building the business there before the move north. The business is Connective-accredited, specialising in residential deal structuring, solution-based lending and property investment growth, with clients also spanning SMSF and some commercial lending. What's missing is someone here to build a North Queensland client base to match, as the owner has other business ventures consuming a lot of his time.

What you'll actually be doing

Servicing an existing Gold Coast client base (from Townsville) — an income floor while you build, not the whole job
n




Building a North Queensland client base from the ground up — your own network, your own settlements, your own name
n
Structuring and placing residential investment lending as your core focus, with scope to take on SMSF and commercial deals — from experience or a willingness to learn
n
Handing files to our approved processing team for preparation and submission — they carry the admin so you can focus on new business
n
Working largely self-sufficiently, with direct access to an experienced principal broker for deals that need a second opinion — he's running other ventures too, so this suits someone who doesn't need hand‐holding
n
Doing it properly — compliant files, honest advice, relationships that outlast the transaction

What you'll need
n

Current Australian mortgage broking credentials (Cert IV/Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking) and eligibility to operate under an aggregator's credit licence
n
A settlement track record — this is an experienced‐broker role, not an entry point
n
Comfort working independently, judged on outcomes rather than hours
n
An existing Townsville/North Queensland client base or referral network, or the drive to build one
n
Honesty with clients, even when it's not the easy answer
n

Useful but not essential: commercial or SMSF experience (or a willingness to learn), Connective familiarity, experience with Mercury and Quickli, and contacts among Townsville accountants, financial planners or real estate agents.
