THE OPPORTUNITY n
Join our team as a
Technician / Experienced Operator
working across the
South East Water (SEW)
network based in
Dandenong South, VIC
.
n
If you enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, solving problems and being part of a reliable crew, this is an opportunity to put your skills to work in a role that genuinely makes a difference.

Working across a busy 24/7 maintenance contract, you'll play a key role in keeping water and wastewater assets operating safely and efficiently. From responding to network faults and emergency call-outs to carrying out planned maintenance works, no two days are the same.
n
You'll work with experienced field crews across a variety of maintenance activities, including excavation, repairs, equipment operation and emergency response works. Whether you're operating machinery, attending network faults or helping restore services to customers, you'll be part of a team that keeps essential infrastructure running.

This role suits experienced operators and technicians who enjoy practical work, take pride in doing the job right and value working within a safety-focused team environment.

This role requires flexibility to participate in rotating shifts and an on-call roster to support emergency response and after-hours maintenance activities.
ABOUT YOU n
n
Experienced Operator:
Previous experience in civil construction, water or wastewater reticulation, maintenance, excavation or utility operations.
n
Hands-On & Safety Focused:
Comfortable working outdoors, operating equipment safely and delivering quality work in the field.
n
Reliable Team Player:
You communicate well, work effectively within a crew and are willing to support after-hours and emergency response activities when required.
n
Current Driver's Licence and/or MR Licence
n
Spotter Ticket
n
White Card
n
Working with Children Check
n
Excavator and/or Backhoe Ticket
n
Pre-Employment Checks:
Full Australian working rights and the ability to complete a pre-employment medical, licence checks and Working with Children Check requirements.
