Key responsibilities
Deliver person-centred, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
Respond promptly to clinical deterioration and escalated appropriately.
Support and mentor students and less experienced staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
What you need
To be eligible for appointment to this role, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
robust assessment and clinical decision-making skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
strong interpersonal and communication skills which will enable you to successfully problem solve, resolve conflicts and negotiate, including the ability to engage in difficult conversations, whilst building and maintaining relationships.
