Salary: $100, 000 - $120,000/year + Attractive Bonus as well

About the Role
n
Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee the organisation's daily operations and drive business development activities to strengthen referral pathways, welcome new NDIS participants and broaden service delivery.
n
This position suits a proactive leader who can manage operational demands, build productive stakeholder relationships and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Operations Management
n
Oversee daily NDIS operations, ensuring consistent and effective service delivery.
n
Maintain compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
n
Coordinate participant intake, service agreements, care planning and ongoing support delivery.
n
Supervise Support Coordinators, Support Workers and administration staff.
n
Evaluate participant outcomes and maintain high service standards.
n
Develop, review and implement operational policies and procedures.
n
Oversee incident reporting, complaints handling and risk management.
n
Prepare operational reports to support management decisions.
n
Improve internal systems, workflows and business processes.
n
Uphold privacy, work health and safety (WHS), and safeguarding requirements.
n
Business Development
n
Design and implement strategies to attract recent participants and grow services.
n
Establish and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, allied health professionals, Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators (LACs), Plan Managers, community organisations and government agencies.
n
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
n
Assess opportunities to introduce additional NDIS services.
n
Deliver presentations and participate in networking activities.
n
Oversee digital marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives.
n
Build strategic partnerships that support organisational growth.
n
Strengthen the organisation's profile and visibility across NSW.
n
Prepare business development plans and forecasts.
n
Participant Engagement and Onboarding
n
Take responsibility for participant growth and a smooth onboarding experience by:
n
Achieving agreed referral targets.
n
Conducting initial intake interviews.
n
Preparing and coordinating service agreements.
n
Managing the onboarding process from initial enquiry to commencement of services.
n
Developing trusted relationships with participants and their families.
n
Responding promptly to enquiries from referral partners.
n
Achieving strong conversion rates from enquiries to active participants.
n
Leadership
n
Guide, support and mentor multidisciplinary teams.
n
Build a positive, collaborative and accountable workplace culture.
n
Manage staff recruitment, training and ongoing development.
n
Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
n
Encourage continuous improvement across all areas of the organisation.
n
To be considered, applicants must demonstrate:
n
At least three years of experience in NDIS operations.
n
A proven record in business development within the disability sector.
n
Demonstrated success in attracting and onboarding NDIS participants.
n
Sound knowledge of NDIS legislation, Practice Standards and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
n
A strong understanding of Support Coordination, Supported Independent Living (SIL),
Community Participation and Capacity Building supports.
n
The ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
n
Strong leadership and staff management experience.
n
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
n
Experience developing business strategies and delivering against growth targets.
n
Strong organisational skills and a practical approach to problem-solving.
n
Well-developed analytical and report-writing skills.
n
The following will be highly regarded:
n
An established referral network within the disability sector.
n
Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) and NDIS management systems, preferably ShiftCare.
n
Experience in marketing and digital business development.
n
Previous involvement in setting up new NDIS services.
n
Qualifications in Business, Health, Community Services, Social Work, Nursing or a related field.
n
