We are seeking trade-qualified or highly experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our Hemmant team. You'll handle a mix of workshop overhauls and field service travel locally and interstate, with opportunities to progress into Service Technician or Supervisor roles.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Maintain, overhaul, install, and commission industrial air/gas compressors, gas engines, and rotating machinery.
n
Perform mechanical fault-finding, troubleshooting, and job data logging.
n
Complete local workshop tasks and travel for field projects (2–3 weeks at a time; ute and gear provided).
n
Support sales and service teams while maintaining positive client relationships on-site.
n

Requirements
n
n
Prior expeirence as a mechanical fitter, ideally with compressors experience or in the oil and gas industry.
n
Mechanical Trade Qualification
n
Strong commitment to safety, team culture, and quality workmanship.
