We are looking for a Warehouse & Trade Sales team member to join our Underwood Brisbane store.
n
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys working with customers, being part of a busy warehouse environment and taking pride in getting the job done correctly.
n
About the Role
n
You will work across both our warehouse and trade counter, assisting customers while ensuring orders and stock are handled accurately and efficiently.
n
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
n
n
Providing friendly and professional customer service in-store and over the phone.
n
Assisting trade customers with product selection and general product information.
n
Preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
n
Picking and packing trade and retail orders.
n
Receiving and checking incoming stock.
n
Loading and unloading deliveries and freight.
n
Dispatching customer orders and organising freight collections.
n
Maintaining accurate stock levels and product locations.
n
Assisting with regular stocktakes and stock reconciliation.
n




Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment where required.
n
Keeping the warehouse and store clean, organised and safe.
n
Preparing product samples and colour swatches.
n
Assisting customers with tinting and colour matching.
n
Using our POS and computer systems to process sales, orders and stock movements.
n
Assisting with opening and closing the store when required.
n
Working closely with the Store Manager and wider team to ensure the branch runs smoothly.
n
Following company procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
n

What We're Looking For
n
We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and customer‐focused, with a genuine interest in learning our products and industry.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Previous warehouse, trade sales, retail or customer service experience.
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
n
Strong attention to detail.
n
Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
n
Good time management and organisational skills.
n
The ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise tasks.
n
Physical fitness to perform manual warehouse duties.
n
A professional and friendly manner.
n




The ability to follow procedures and work safely.
n

Experience That Would Be an Advantage
n
Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:
n
n
Trade sales
n
Warehouse operations
n
Paint or coatings
n
Concrete or flooring products
n
Construction or building supplies
n
Paint tinting and colour matching
n
POS and inventory systems
n
Forklift operation
n
n
A current driver's licence is required.
n
A forklift licence is preferred, however, we are willing to assist the right candidate with obtaining their forklift ticket.
n
What We Offer

$65,000–$70,000 + super, depending on experience

Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week

No weekend work
