We're looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our Sales team and play a key role in supporting better commercial decision-making across the region.
n
Reporting to the Sales Director ANZ/SEA, you'll work closely with Sales Leadership and the wider sales team to understand performance, uncover opportunities, identify risks and turn data into clear, actionable recommendations.
n
This is more than a reporting role. We want someone who looks at the numbers and asks why.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
n
Analyse sales performance across customers, products, territories, channels and markets
n
Identify trends, opportunities, risks and performance gaps
n
Analyse performance against budget, forecast and prior year, and understand the drivers behind the results
n
Lead the preparation of monthly sales reporting, providing meaningful commentary, insights and recommendations
n
Prepare analysis and insights for management meetings and business reviews
n
Support budgeting, forecasting and sales planning
n
Develop dashboards and reporting tools that make performance easier to understand and act on
n
Identify data quality issues and opportunities to improve reporting, processes and automation
n




Undertake ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions and support key commercial initiatives

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
n
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with data but is equally comfortable explaining what the data means and what we should do about it.
n
You'll have:
n
Experience in a Commercial Analyst, Sales Analyst, Business Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar analytical role
n
A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics or a related discipline
n
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate variances and identify underlying drivers
n
A strong commercial mindset and the ability to turn analysis into practical recommendations
n
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy
n
Strong communication skills and the confidence to present insights to stakeholders
n
Experience with Power BI or another data visualisation platform will be highly regarded, along with exposure to CRM/ERP systems, budgeting, forecasting and commercial performance analysis.
