About the Position
The Office Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of Z Employment Co Pty Ltd (Z Staffing)'s Melrose Park office.
This position oversees administrative operations, supports internal teams and external stakeholders, and helps maintain the organised, professional environment that underpins the company's technology-enabled staffing services in the childcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure the workplace runs smoothly Manage office supplies, including ordering, stocktaking, and liaising with suppliers
Coordinate and maintain office equipment, facilities,



and vendor relationships Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence (mail, email, phone enquiries) Greet visitors and manage front-of-house or reception duties
Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and book meeting rooms Organise travel arrangements and accommodation for staff Maintain filing systems, records, and databases (physical and digital)
Support HR functions such as onboarding current staff, maintaining personnel records, and coordinating inductions Process invoices, expenses, petty cash, and basic bookkeeping tasks Liaise with building management, cleaners, and maintenance contractors
Ensure health, safety, and compliance requirements are met Plan and coordinate office events, functions, and team activities Supervise administrative or support staff and delegate tasks
Develop and improve office policies, systems, and procedures Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders Manage budgets for office expenditure and report on costs
Handle confidential information with discretion
Requirements
Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Diploma qualification in a related field.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, proficiency with office software and digital systems, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, attention to detail, the capacity to handle confidential information discreetly, and the interpersonal skills needed to work effectively with internal teams, suppliers and visitors in a fast-paced professional environment.
