The Opportunity
We're seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our compassionate team at our Ipswich Community Vet Clinic on a part time basis (2 or 3 shifts per week).
This role offers a diverse and rewarding caseload with genuine work-life balance, Monday to Friday shifts only, with no weekend work and no on-call duties.
At AWLQ's Community Vet Clinics, we believe no sick or suffering animal should be turned away.
Our clinics are more than medical facilities; they're a community devoted to saving lives and keeping pets and people together, helping to prevent unnecessary shelter admissions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality veterinary care and ensure the well-being of all patients.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical and surgical cases.




Communicate effectively with clients to provide education, advice, and support.
Work collaboratively with veterinary nurses and support staff to achieve the best outcomes.
Uphold AWLQ's commitment to keeping pets and people together, ensuring that animals receive the care they need regardless of their owner's financial situation.
Essential Skills and Attributes
Tertiary qualification in Veterinary Science and current registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland.
Strong clinical and surgical skills with a compassionate approach to animal care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and colleagues.
Ability to manage diverse cases and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility and reliability to work on a casual basis, Monday to Friday.
