Job Description
This is a hands‐on sales role across on‐premise and off‐premise.
You'll build new business and grow existing customers across pubs, bars, restaurants, independent retailers, retail groups and national accounts.
You'll be based in Sydney, working alongside another Sydney-based Sales Manager.
Together, you'll spend plenty of time across the Northern Beaches and wider Sydney market.
An chance might take either of you to the Eastern Suburbs, Bathurst, Northern Rivers or interstate.
You'll be selling two very different brands: Modus Brewing, an Australian owned and independent brewery with beers spanning Japanese Lager, Pacific Ale and Cerveza through to Pales and IPAs, and NORT, a non‐alcoholic beer brand ranged nationally across Australia.
Key responsibilities
Build new business and grow existing customers across pubs, bars, restaurants, independent retailers, retail groups and national accounts
See customers, open doors and build relationships
Present products, conduct tastings, merchandise and activate launches
Work closely with marketing, operations and production
Bring opportunities and market intelligence back into the wider business
Travel and spend plenty of time on the road
About you
Sales experience, initiative and commercial instinct
Know how to build relationships,



spot an opportunity and turn it into revenue
Comfortable managing yourself with autonomy
A team player who prioritises shared opportunities over individual territories
Experience in FMCG, beverages, hospitality, food, wine, spirits or related fields (not required to be from beer sales)
Base salary: $75,000-$85,000 + super, depending on experience

We're investing in new technology, systems and automation to make our sales operation more collaborative, more efficient and less admin heavy.
You'll report directly to the Founder, working alongside other Sales Managers in a relatively flat structure.
