We are looking for an experienced Senior Computer Systems Officerto join a QLD government department.
n
This is a senior technical role focused on the design, development, maintenance and support of complex Microsoft operating environments, endpoint and server platforms, Azure-integrated services and automation.
n
You'll work across a broad Microsoft technology stack while providing technical guidance, troubleshooting complex issues, improving operational processes and helping build sustainable team capability.
n
As a Senior Computer Systems Officer, you will:
n
n
Design, develop, maintain and troubleshoot solutions across Windows operating systems, endpoint and server platforms
n
Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell and C# .NET
n
Work across SCCM, Intune, Azure services and Microsoft Graph
n
Develop scripts, tools, configuration items and Graph-based integrations to improve operational efficiency
n
Investigate complex technical issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement pragmatic, supportable solutions
n
Contribute to the design and improvement of departmental operating system and managed operating setting services
n
Review technical designs, code, documentation and implementation approaches
n
Provide technical guidance, mentoring and constructive peer review
n




Improve technical documentation, knowledge management and support processes
n
Work closely with senior technical specialists and managers across infrastructure, applications and related ICT domains
n
Support knowledge transfer, onboarding and capability uplift across the team
n
n
You'll ideally bring strong experience across enterprise Microsoft environments, with particular strength in:
n
n
Windows operating systems and server platforms
n
PowerShell scripting and automation
n
C# / .NET development
n
SCCM / Microsoft Configuration Manager
n
Microsoft Intune
n
Azure services
n
Microsoft Graph
n
Endpoint management and enterprise ICT platforms
n
Technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
n
Systems integration and automation
n
Technical documentation and solution design
n
n
You will also demonstrate the ability to:

Design solutions that are maintainable, supportable and fit for purpose
