Bluewater Bar & Grill is looking for a hands-on and motivated Full-Time Duty Manager to join our management team. This is an operational, floor-based leadership role suited to an experienced hospitality supervisor or Duty Manager who enjoys being involved in service, leading a team and taking responsibility for the smooth operation of a busy venue. We are also open to applicants who are currently working as a robust hospitality supervisor and are ready to take the next step into management.

Key responsibilities
n
Lead and supervise FOH operations during allocated shifts
n
Open and close the venue and take responsibility as Manager on Duty
n
Lead the team from the floor during busy services
n
Allocate staff, breaks and duties throughout the shift
n
Maintain high standards of customer service and hospitality
n
Respond to customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
n
Coordinate closely with the kitchen and other departments
n
Assist with gaming, bar and bistro operations
n
Complete cash handling, reconciliation and end-of-day procedures
n
Ensure RSA, RSG, liquor licensing and venue procedures are followed
n
About you
n




Has previous hospitality supervisory or management experience
n
Is confident leading a team during busy services
n
Is hands-on and enjoys working on the floor
n
Has strong communication and customer service skills
n
Is reliable, organised and accountable
n
Can make decisions and solve problems during a shift
n
Is comfortable providing direction and feedback to staff
n
Can work nights, weekends and public holidays as required
n
Holds or is willing to obtain the required Queensland RSA/RSG and management-related certifications
n
