Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher for a full-time position in Perth. This role offers the opportunity to teach Years 7–12 English, delivering engaging lessons that develop students' literacy, writing, language, and analytical skills. You will inspire a love of English, foster critical thinking, and support student growth across all year levels.

Key responsibilities

Plan and deliver student-centered English lessons for Years 7–12
n
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support learning
n
Integrate technology and contemporary assessment tools into teaching
n
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum
n
Support student wellbeing and create a positive, inclusive classroom setting
n

What we are looking for
n
n




Bachelor of Education (English) or equivalent
n
Full registration with the relevant WA teaching authority
n
Valid Working with Children Check
n
Experience teaching Years 7–12 English
n
Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
n
Commitment to student development and inclusive education
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other learning management tools
n
