We Will are a progressive and innovative health service and currently have a District Nursing opportunity for a Registered Nurse with an interest and/or experience in community nursing. With your skills and experience, you will deliver safe, reliable and responsive client-based care.
n
The District Nursing Team is a valuable part of the Community Services Team and is responsible for providing clinical nursing care to clients in the community setting, within the Alpine Shire.
n
The role contributes to multidisciplinary assessment, care planning, and treatment to ensure that the clinical needs are met for clients within their own home environment.
n
What we are looking for:
n
n
Minimum of three years acute clinical and community nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.
n
Passion for Community Nursing.
n
Experience in Wound Management, CVAD's, Palliative care, Negative Pressure Wound Therapy, Stoma and Catheter care.
n
Ability to work independently and without direct supervision within an MDT environment.
n
Ability to problem solve and make decisions in a variety of complex situations.
n
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
n
Prepared to work weekends as required.
