What's on Offer

$36 per hour + super + overtime paid at penalty rates
n
Monday to Friday roster, 6:00am - 2:30pm
n
Consistent overtime opportunities (approximately 5-10 hours per week on average)
n
Immediate start available
n
Ongoing position with potential to transition to permanent for the right person
n
Work within a stable steel manufacturing environment producing quality products
n

The Role
n
Working as part of the production team, you will play an key role in operating machinery to manufacture quality steel products while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Operating steel manufacturing machinery including roll formers, slitters, press brakes, folders, and similar equipment
n




Setting up machinery and adjusting controls to meet production requirements
n
Loading materials and ensuring products are processed accurately
n
Monitoring production quality and completing quality checks
n
Reading job specifications and following production requirements
n
Safely handling steel products and materials
n
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area
n
Supporting the wider production team when required
n
n
About You
n

To be successful, you will have:

Previous experience operating steel processing or manufacturing machinery
n
Experience with roll formers, slitters, press brakes, folders, or similar equipment
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
A positive attitude and willingness to contribute as part of a team
n
A reliable work history and strong work ethic
n
Ability to work safely and follow procedures in a fast-paced workplace
n
Forklift licence and experience highly regarded, but not essential
n
n
