Job Description
NELSON EXHAUST is seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator /Boilermaker to join our team in Rocklea, Queensland. This is a casual position with the view to move to full time for the right candidate. You will be responsible for fabricating high-quality custom exhaust components for the heavy diesel industry.

What you'll be doing

Fabricate and weld exhaust systems to precise specifications
n
Interpret technical drawings and diagrams to guide the fabrication process
n
Operate a range of welding equipment, including MIG and TIG
n
Use hand and power tools to cut, bend and shape exhaust components
n
Perform quality checks and adjustments to ensure finished products meet required standards
n
Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Minimum 2 years' experience as an exhaust fabricator or welder
n
Strong welding skills and experience with 1.6mm to 3mm materials.
n




Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
n
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
n
Commitment to delivering high-quality work
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n

What we offer

At NELSON EXHAUST, we are offering a 5-day working week 39.5 hours - 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am- 3.30pm Friday. Working in a small team setting.
