Electrical Project Engineer / Manager — High Voltage Construction

An Electrical Project Engineer / Manager role joining the HV construction team delivering high-voltage works on large-scale data centre and infrastructure projects. You'll work alongside the senior project engineer, take ownership of HV construction packages, and grow into running the scope in your own right as the pipeline expands. This is a genuine growth role — embedded with a leading hyperscale client, on live HV construction, with a clear pathway to lead.

Key responsibilities
n
Deliver HV construction packages end-to-end — mobilisation to handover
n
Run the contract: scope, variations, RFIs, progress claims, programme
n
Supervise site works; coordinate subcontractors and labour
n
Oversee HV cabling and terminations, switchgear, switchrooms and switchyards
n
Coordinate protection relay installation, configuration and testing
n
Manage ITPs, quality records, HSE and HV
switching/isolations
n
Be the face of JMB to the client — status, risk and commercial reporting
n
About you
n
Proven HV construction experience — cabling & terminations,
switchgear/switchrooms/switchyards,
protection relays & testing
n




Solid site supervision with genuine hands-on background
n
Confidence working directly with clients
n
Ability to travel interstate based on client and project requirements
n
Data centre HV experience (not essential — strong HV construction + a want to gain data centre exposure works)
n
HV switching / access authorisation
n
Elec Eng degree; CPEng / RPEQ (or working toward)
n
AS/NZS ****, AS/NZS **** and HV standards
n
