About the Role
As our Quality Control Officer in the Moco Meats afternoon shift team, you will work from 2pm to 10pm. You'll be the go-to person for ensuring our meat products consistently meet internal specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. You'll be hands-on in the production environment, inspecting primal cuts, portioned products, and packaging to maintain accuracy, safety, and compliance.
This is a critical role that works closely with our operations, production, and procurement teams to protect Moco's reputation for excellence. You'll not only conduct daily QC checks, but also identify and drive improvements that minimise waste, strengthen food safety practices, and keep us at the forefront of quality.

You'll bring sharp attention to detail, a proactive approach, and a genuine passion for meat and food quality. You thrive in a hands-on environment, moving between the production floor and compliance records with ease. Skills, Experience & Attributes




Experience in quality control of meat processing or production
Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety, and compliance requirements
Knowledge of meat specifications, primal and portion cuts, and industry standards
Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills
Ability to identify issues quickly and drive effective corrective actions
Strong communication and collaboration across multiple teams
Work within Moco's brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Wacol, with plenty of on-site parking available
