About the role
n
Wittur Australia is establishing local manufacturing of elevator control panels at our Arndell Park facility, and we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to be at the centre of that build. You will design the control panels we produce based on our Elevator controller (Dedicated PLC). You will design the schematics, cabinet layout, wiring paths, BOMs, and you will work alongside our production team to bring those designs to life on the shop floor.

As we ramp from first-of-kind builds toward serial production, you will own the technical foundation: the drawings, the testing procedures, and the quality controls. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, suited to an engineer who wants to shape a manufacturing operation from the ground up rather than maintain one that already exists.

Key responsibilities
n
Design wiring diagrams for elevator control panels based on order specifications
n
Develop bills of materials (BOMs) based on standard configurations and order-specific requirements
n
Size control cabinets and lay out component positioning
n




Develop and implement testing procedures
n
Prepare the parameter sets for the elevator controller
n
Support the production team with testing and quality control
n
Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers
n
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production
n
What you'll bring
n
Qualified Electrical Engineer (degree-level)
n
Demonstrated experience producing electrical schematics in EPLAN or ETAP SEE, in 2D and 3D, including wiring paths and control panel design, Shop floor wiring
n
Proven track record in a similar role within a manufacturing or panel-building environment
n
Working knowledge of PLCs
n
Troubleshooting and strong problem-solving ability
n
Electrical License
n
Exposure to AS/NZS **** wiring rules
n
Full working rights in Australia
n
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
n
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
n
Effective communication skills and customer-focused mindset
n
Experience in the elevator industry
n
Familiarity with CANopen-based control systems
n
Exposure to AS**** / EN***** elevator standards
n
