Direct Personnel are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator/Trade Assistant to join a well-established mining fabrication business based in the Hunter Valley.

What You'll Be Doing:
n
n
Operating a forklift to move materials, stock, and finished products around the workshop and yard
n
Assisting with fabrication, welding support, and general workshop activities
n
Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
n
Reading and interpreting drawings
n
Using hand and power tools
n
General workshop duties and housekeeping
n
Working safely as part of a skilled production team
n

What We Need from You:
n
n
Previous experience as a Forklift Operator, Trade Assistant, or in a
fabrication/workshop
environment
n
Current Forklift Licence (LF) - essential
n
Experience using hand and power tools
n
Ability to read and interpret drawings (advantageous)
n
Robust work ethic and reliable attendance
n
Current driver licence and reliable transport
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
n
