Full time hours Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.30pm

We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Administrator to support the daily operational needs of a large transport company in Adelaide.
n
The successful candidate must have prior experience in a similar fast paced environment and a working knowledge of administrative practices and procedures. You will need to effectively apply these skills and demonstrate a firm understanding of data entry techniques and demonstrate a high level of organisation. This is an exciting chance for any administration professional to develop skills in a supportive and proactive environment.

Primary Roles and Responsibility
n
n
Collecting information from customers and clients
n
Entering data into the central database
n
Cataloguing the data with appropriate tags for ease of reference
n
Pallet management and co-ordination
n
Monitory inventory and reducing costs effiectively
n
Maintaining and updating the database system as necessary




n
Generating periodic reports
n
Evaluating and approving Purchase Orders (PO)s
n
Provide general administrative support to the transport team
n
n
To be successful you will need to demonstrate:
n
n
Ability to effectively apply data entry practices and procedures
n
Strong knowledge of MS Office programs
n
High level organisation and time management skills
n
Be a proactive team member with a dynamic and committed work ethic
n
