Commercial Litigation Lawyer - Associate
Commercial Litigation Associate | 3 + Years PAE
This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate with a background in commercial litigation to join a growing team in Brisbane!
You'll manage a broad range of complex matters from end to end, support senior lawyers, and play a key role in mentoring junior staff.
You'll be involved in construction and shareholder disputes, misleading conduct claims, equitable and property matters, and more.
The role also includes court appearances, client engagement, and development of effective litigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Advise on a broad range of commercial disputes
Draft and review pleadings, submissions, and legal documents
Develop litigation strategies and manage workflows
Liaise with clients, counsel, and opposing solicitors
Attend court, mediations, and instruct counsel
Monitor budgets and billing, ensuring compliance and efficiency
Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
What You'll Need




Minimum 3 years PAE in commercial litigation
Ability to manage matters independently
Strong understanding of court procedures and litigation process
Excellent drafting, communication and client management skillsHigh level of attention to detail and commercial judgement
Experience with complex disputes in property or construction - desirable
Familiarity with equitable claims and shareholder disputes - desirable
