Xavier College is seeking a collaborative House Director – Teaching and Learning (HDT&L;) to join our vibrant Two Wells Campus (R–11, expanding to Year 12 in ****).
This is a key leadership position (POR3) with responsibility for leading curriculum development, staff growth and overseeing the case management of student learning outcomes.
Multiple positions are available with a January **** commencement date, for a fixed period of 4 years.
This position involves a permanent, full-time teaching role.
Working in close partnership with your HDT&L; and House Director - Pastoral Care (HDPC) counterparts and the Two Wells Leadership team, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership, driving excellence in teaching and learning, strengthening pedagogical practice, and fostering a culture of high expectations, innovation and continuous improvement across the campus.
This position involves a teaching component and should be read in conjunction with the Teacher Position Information Document.
Key Responsibilities include:
Lead teaching and learning excellence across Years 7–12
Shape curriculum innovation and evidence informed pedagogical practice
Mentor and develop staff through coaching, collaboration and professional growth opportunities
Influence student achievement through academic leadership and overseeing case management
Lead and support Curriculum Leaders to deliver high quality learning outcomes
Drive the effective integration of digital technology in teaching and learning




Work as part of a dynamic leadership team focused on student success and continuous improvement
Partner with the House Director – Pastoral Care to provide holistic support for students
Guide students and families through subject selection and future pathway planning
Make a meaningful impact on curriculum development, staff capability and student outcomes
