An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Facilities Officer to join a highly regarded, purpose-driven organisation managing a growing portfolio of medium and high-density residential assets.

Working closely with the Asset Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation, maintenance and compliance of essential building services, ensuring properties remain safe, compliant, functional and well maintained.
n
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with facilities, building services or residential asset management experience who enjoys a varied role, contractor management and working across multiple sites.

The Role
n
n
Manage essential building services including fire systems, lifts, HVAC, security and shared infrastructure
n
Coordinate planned preventative maintenance programs and service contracts
n
Manage contractors and external service providers, ensuring quality, safety and value for money
n
Conduct regular site inspections across the residential portfolio
n
Coordinate defect rectification and warranty works across newer properties
n
Assist with procurement and tender processes for facilities contracts
n
Maintain facilities records, compliance documentation and contractor reporting
n
Monitor building compliance, WHS and essential service requirements
n
Identify operational risks and recommend improvements or future capital works
n
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, residents, contractors and suppliers
n

About You
n
We are looking for a proactive,



organised and solutions-focused facilities professional who is comfortable managing multiple priorities.
n
n
3-5 years' experience within Facilities Management, Building Services, Property or Housing Asset Management
n
Strong knowledge of building compliance, WHS and essential services
n
Experience across fire systems, HVAC, lifts, security or similar building infrastructure
n
Proven experience managing contractors and service providers
n
Solid communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
n
Confidence using Microsoft Office and property or facilities management systems
n
Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence
n
n
Experience within multi-unit residential, community housing, social housing, strata or residential property portfolios
n
Experience within multi-unit residential, community housing, social housing, strata or residential property portfolios will be highly regarded.
n
Qualifications in Facilities Management, Building Services, Property or a related discipline would also be advantageous.
