We are seeking a skilled and motivated
ReticulationNetwork
Engineer
to join our Community Utilities Division, supportingthe operation, maintenance, and renewal of Port Macquarie-Hastings Council'swater and wastewater reticulation networks. This is a fantastic opportunity foran engineering professional with a passion for infrastructure and communityservice to contribute technical expertise and lead projects that ensure thesafe, reliable delivery of essential utilities.
About the Role n
Reporting to the Reticulation Networks Manager, you willprovide engineering support to the Community Utilities Operations team by:
n
n
Providingengineering
support and technical advice for the maintenance, renewal, andcompliance of water and sewer reticulation assets.
n
Preparingoperational
and safety procedures, including shutdown protocols, riskassessments, and construction documentation.
n
Managinglicensing, regulatory reporting, and environmental impact controls in linewith relevant legislation.
n
Leadingplanning, design, relevant approval applications, delivery, andcapitalisation of Utilities Operations projects following PMHC's ProjectManagement Framework.
n
Collaboratingwith Planning, Design, and Project Delivery teams to review designs andanalyse operational data.
n
Leadingprocurement activities for works and services supporting treatment plantsand headworks assets.
n
Identifyingand implementing process optimisations and innovations to improve systemperformance.
n
Promotingsafe work practices through inspections, inductions, and risk
managementinitiatives.
n
Providingoperational




support across Community Utilities areas and participating inthe after-hours on-call roster.

About You n
To be successful in this position:
n
n
ABachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
n
Demonstratedexperience
in the water supply and wastewater industry, ideally within anoperational environment.
n
Provenskills in project planning, management, and delivery.
n
Experiencein process optimisation and troubleshooting within water and seweroperations.
n
Well-developedverbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
n
Advancedcomputer skills, particularly with spreadsheets, databases, and SCADAsystems.
n
Acollaborative approach, strong commitment to safety and compliance, andmotivation to enhance community infrastructure through innovation andtechnical excellence.
n
Remuneration and Benefits n
Employment type: Permanent, full-time role (35 hours perweek plus flex time)
n
Salary: Starting from $101,****** to $113,****** per yeardepending on skills and experience plus 12% super and allowances
n
This role also qualifies for a leaseback vehicle orallowance
