Complete Staff Solutions are seeking a Part time Junior Network Support Engineer or early-career ICT/Networking Support Officer who can provide onsite support at a Coffs Harbour campus environment, backed by senior remote network engineers and vendor escalation channels.

Location: Must live within approximately 30 minutes of the Coffs Harbour campus
n
Casual Pay Rate: $***** - $***** per hour + super (dependant on skills, experience and qualifications)
n
Hours/Days: Initially part-time, generally one day per week onsite, with a requirement to be available for urgent callouts during the operational support period
n
The engagement is structured as follows
n
Onboarding Phase: 28 September **** to 27 November ****
n
Operational Support Phase 1: 30 November **** to 18 December ****
n
Operational Support Phase 2: 4 January **** to 27 February ****
n
Onsite requirement: generally one day per week
n
On-call requirement:



from 30 November **** through to 27 February **** for urgent network incidents
n
Callout arrangement: approved callout work will be paid at overtime rates
n
The role would suit someone with practical or developing capability in:
n
n
Layer 2 switching, VLANs, access ports and trunk ports
n
Basic Layer 3 routing concepts
n
DHCP and DNS troubleshooting
n
Wireless networking support
n
Ping, ICMP, connectivity testing and structured network diagnostics
n
Customer-facing support and clear communication
n
Drivers Licence
n
2 x work related references
n
