A lot of our bookings come up at short notice. You don't need to be available for everything, but when you say yes to a shift, we need you there.

Alseasons Hospitality Staff is recruiting experienced Catering Assistants for casual bookings across aged care facilities in the Wollongong area.
n
What you'll be doing
n
Depending on the booking, duties may include:
n
n
Assisting with meal preparation
n
Plating and serving meals
n
Basic food handling
n
Preparing and clearing dining and service areas
n
Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning
n
Maintaining food hygiene and cleanliness standards
n
Following site-specific food safety and service procedures
n
Supporting the onsite catering team with general kitchen duties
n
Working independently or alongside the onsite team
n
n
What you'll need
n
n
Previous catering, kitchen or food service experience
n
Your own car and reliable transport
n
Strong reliability and punctuality
n
Able to respond to short-notice shift requests
n
Comfortable travelling to different aged care sites across the Wollongong area
n
Comfortable working around residents and onsite care teams
n
Able to follow food safety,



hygiene and site-specific procedures
n
Comfortable adapting to different sites and catering duties
n
n
Required compliance
n
To be considered for these aged care bookings, you'll need:

A current Police Check
n
Valid working rights in Australia
n
n
These requirements need to be confirmed before you can be placed into shifts.

What to expect
n
This isn't one Catering Assistant role at one location. Different aged care clients have different requirements, and shifts can become available at short notice.
n
One booking may focus on meal preparation and plating. Another may involve meal service, dishwashing, cleaning and general kitchen support.
n
You need to be comfortable walking into different sites, following the booking requirements and getting on with the work.
n
Most importantly, if you accept a shift, we need to know you'll be there. Reliability is a key part of this role.
