Physiotherapist – Aged Care (Wallsend NSW)
Full Time | Monday–Friday | Modern Facility | Supportive Team
A wonderful opportunity exists for a Physiotherapist to join our team at a well‐appointed and highly regarded residential aged‐care home in Wallsend, Newcastle NSW.
You will manage a varied caseload, helping residents stay active, mobile, and as pain‐free as possible through evidence‐based physiotherapy and restorative programs.
Hours & Days
Full time – 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised care plans
Implement wellness, reablement, and restorative programs
Deliver exercise plans and falls‐prevention strategies
Prescribe mobility aids and functional equipment
Participate in professional development and staff education
Conduct seated group exercise classes
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Skills & Experience
Experience in aged care advantageous (new graduates welcome and supported)
Strong clinical reasoning and decision‐making
Confident with exercise prescription
Able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team




Familiar with manual handling equipment
Computer literate with good documentation skills

Recognised Physiotherapy qualification and current AHPRA registration
Current police clearance
