As the Preschool Room Leader, you will lead the day-to-day educational program and support the team to provide high-quality learning and care for children.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Lead and mentor educators within the Preschool Room.
n
Develop and implement a high-quality program aligned with the EYLF.
n
Complete meaningful observations, assessments, documentation and planning.
n
Use children's interests, strengths and developmental needs to guide the curriculum.
n
Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider team.
n
Promote a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
n
Support compliance with the NQF, NQS, EYLF and National Regulations.
n
Contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and continuous improvement.
n




Support the service through Assessment and Rating (A&R;) processes.
n
About you
n
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent recognised qualification.
n
Previous Room Leader or leadership experience in an early childhood setting.
n
Demonstrated experience with Assessment and Rating (A&R;).
n
Solid knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and National Quality Framework.
n
Experience with programming.
n
Confident and experienced leader who can guide and motivate a team.
n
Passionate about children's learning, development and wellbeing.
n
Strong in curriculum planning, assessment and documentation.
n
Excellent communicator who builds strong relationships with children, families and educators.
