About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Vocal Tutor to join our expanding Music Academy team in ****. You will be responsible for providing tuition to students in small groups, pairs, or individual lessons in your area of expertise and will have the ability to lead a Secondary Choir.
n
This is a contractor position, and tutors are paid per lesson based on their qualifications and registration with the Queensland Music Teachers Association (QMTA).

Key Responsibilities
n
Deliver engaging and high-quality singing lessons.




n
Tailor lesson content to suit individual student needs and skill levels.
n
Lead a Secondary Choir
n
Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and the Music Academy team.
n
Submit fortnightly invoices for hours worked.
n
Support the development of the College's music program.
n
Required Qualifications & Skills
n
Vocal training.
n
Demonstrated proficiency in your instrument and prior teaching experience.
n
ABN (Australian Business Number).
n
Current Public Liability Insurance (PLI).
n
Valid Blue Card for working with children in Queensland.
n
Robust interpersonal and communication skills.
n
Reliability, professionalism, and passion for music education.
