FlyFree Retractable Insect Screens at Brendale is looking for a Casual Sewing Machine operator for 2-3 days a week.
We make custom retractable flyscreens; our machinist needs to be comfortable operating a twin needle and single needle machine.
The job entails cutting, measuring, and sewing lightweight flyscreen material.
Key responsibilities
Operating twin needle and single needle sewing machines
Cutting and measuring lightweight flyscreen material
Occasionally assisting with loading recent rolls of mesh
Helping in other areas of the factory, including cutting and assembly of aluminium components
About you
Experience with industrial sewing machines
Willingness to learn
Exceptional ability to accurately read, write and transfer measurements
Physically fit, as you will be required to occasionally assist loading new rolls of mesh
A clean and tidy worker who takes pride in their setting and work
Open to helping in other areas of the factory
