Position Information
Georges River College is a connected, multi-campus public secondary college serving the culturally and linguistically diverse communities of the Georges River area in southern Sydney.
Georges River College consists of three comprehensive, coeducational middle schools - Georges River College Hurstville Campus, Georges River College Peakhurst Campus and Georges River College Penshurst Campus, catering for students in Years 7–10, and Georges River College Oatley Senior Campus, a comprehensive, coeducational senior school for students in Years *****.
The collegiate structure provides students with a supported educational pathway from the middle years into senior secondary education, while enabling each campus to retain its distinct identity, community and educational context.

Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach.
In addition to the general selection criteria,
1. Demonstrated capacity to provide strategic leadership across a multi-campus college, working collaboratively with campus principals to establish a shared aspirational vision, align priorities and lead evidence-informed, measurable and sustainable improvement across Georges River College.
2. Ability to lead and coordinate college-wide approaches that strengthen student learning, wellbeing, engagement, voice and agency, and continuity of educational pathways, ensuring equity, high expectations and responsive opportunities for the diverse needs of students across all campuses.
3. Demonstrated success in providing instructional leadership and building collective efficacy and leadership capacity across multiple settings through evidence-informed professional learning, collaborative practice, strong cross-campus professional networks and the development of current and aspiring leaders.
4. Highly developed capacity to lead through influence, negotiation and relational trust, working collaboratively with the College Management Group and broader community to coordinate college-wide initiatives, strengthen partnerships and the profile of Georges River College.
General Selection Criteria
1. High level educational leadership with the skills to lead and manage a complex public school focused on the delivery of high quality education
2. Ability to lead and manage rigorous and inclusive whole school teaching and learning programs

High level communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships and engage all levels of the school and educational community
4. Ability to lead and manage the development and performance of staff to improve teaching and learning
5. Ability to plan systems and manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning
6. Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal education policy and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
