Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer/Consultant to design, build, and optimisescalable eCommerce solutions for our clients/business.
The ideal candidate will have solid hands‐on SFCC expertise, with a growing interest or experience in Agentic Commerce (AI‐driven, autonomous shopping experiences and agent‐based commerce workflows), and exposure to Adobe Commerce/Experience Cloud or Sitecore platforms.
This role is based in Melbourne or Sydney, offering the opportunity to work on high‐impact digital commerce transformation projects across diverse industries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and implement end-to-end eCommerce solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / Demandware), including SFRA and/or SiteGenesis architectures.
Integrate SFCC with third‐party systems (OMS, ERP, PIM,Payment Gateways, CDP) via SCAPI/OCAPI and REST/SOAP APIs.
Contribute to the design and implementation of Agentic Commerce capabilities - AI agents, conversational commerce, autonomousshopping assistants, and integration with LLM-driven commerce experiences.
Support solutioning and delivery of composable commercearchitectures,



leveraging Adobe Commerce/Experience Manager or Sitecorewhere relevant.
Collaborate with UX, QA, Business Analysts, and Productteams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Optimise site performance, scalability, and SEO acrosscommerce platforms.
Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipeline management, and adherence to best practices/coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuringplatform stability and uptime.
Stay current with emerging commerce technologies, particularly AI/agentic commerce trends, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
3+ years of hands‐on experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware).
Experience with OCAPI/SCAPI, REST/SOAP web services, and third‐party system integrations.
Solid understanding of eCommerce business processes:catalog, pricing, promotions, checkout, and order management.
Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to work both independently and within cross‐functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
PREFERRED / NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
Exposure to Agentic Commerce concepts - AI shoppingagents, autonomous checkout flows, conversational commerce, or integration with LLM/AI‐driven commerce tools.
Experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento) / Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Sitecore (OrderCloud/XM Cloud) platforms.
Familiarity with headless/composable commercearchitecture (MACH principles).
Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications (e.g., B2CCommerce Developer, Architect).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of PWA Kit / React‐based storefronts.
