Situated within HomeCo Tuggerah, our spacious 5-room centre offers modern facilities and resources, providing a nurturing environment for young learners to thrive. With a focus on innovation and excellence, we are certified in STEM education, equipping children with essential skills.

The role
n
We are seeking a Part-time (20 hours a week), lunch cover Cert III educator who brings passion and enthusiasm for early education — whether you are an experienced educator or eager to grow and learn along the way. Required Qualifications & Desired Skills

Working towards or hold a Cert III in Early Childhood Education
n
Valid Working with Children Check
n
National Police Check
n




Developing knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
n
Ability to form positive rapport with all children, families, management and educators
n
Ability to confidently and clearly communicate, relate and interact with children, families, management and educators
n

A demonstrated understanding of child protection and safeguarding responsibilities in early childhood settings

Knowledge of mandatory reporting obligations and relevant child protection legislation

Understanding of professional boundaries and appropriate behaviours when working with children
n
Ability to identify and respond to indicators of abuse, harm, or neglect
n
Knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements relating to children and families
n
Experience implementing child-safe policies and procedures
