The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team and take ownership of engineering and project delivery across a significant civil construction project.
This is a hands-on site-based role suited to a Project Engineer who understands earthworks, construction methodology and what it takes to keep a project moving.
What you'll be doing
Managing engineering and construction activities across your allocated scope
Planning and monitoring 3-week look-ahead programs
Coordinating plant, materials, subcontractors and procurement
Monitoring productivity, costs and project milestones
Supporting variations, progress claims and commercial administration
Managing quality documentation, ITPs, hold points and NCRs
Supporting site safety, SWMS and risk management
Managing RFIs, drawings, registers and project documentation
Working closely with the client, subcontractors and site team to ensure successful project delivery
What we're looking for
4+ years' solid Australian civil construction experience
Strong earthworks experience – essential
Civil Engineering degree or equivalent




Previous experience working in a site-based Project Engineer role
Strong understanding of civil construction methodology and sequencing
Experience managing subcontractors, procurement, programming and project costs
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Current Australian driver's license and Clear Police Check
Experience with Jobpac and Expert Estimation will be highly regarded but is not essential.
