Our programs open many doors in growing grassroots participation and offers a fantastic range of programs that combines tennis, fitness, and fun into the one.To help us in achieving our plans we are looking for a Customer Service Supervisor to join our team at Tennis World NSW on a permanent, full-time basis.
This role will be to support the afternoon shifts Tuesday-Saturday 2-10pm.We believe tennis is a sport that is open for all, and we want our team to reflect the communities we work and play in.
We strongly encourage women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people who identify as LGBTQI, people with a disability and people from culturally diverse backgrounds to apply.About the roleWe're looking for a proactive, customer-focused team member who is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences and contributing to a vibrant tennis and hospitality environment.In this role you will be responsible for:All aspects of front of house operations are delivered in a friendly and effective manner, including presenting a fresh, clean uncluttered Pro Shop and retail environmentMaintain and deliver high standards of facility management across all areas within the responsibility of Tennis World SydneyOversee the consistent delivery of excellent customer service and administration at FOH by regularly monitoring performance and offering feedback, training and support to staff as requiredSupport all internal and external bookings at Tennis World Sydney,
identifying any ways to improve stakeholder relationships to ensure our customer service standards are maintainedEnsure team engagement and monitor staff productivity, morale, teamwork, communication and job satisfactionAbout youTo be successful in this role you will have:Strong customer service, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, members and key stakeholdersExcellent organisational, administrative and operational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads, manage competing deadlines and maintain high attention to detailExperience in sports, events, retail, functions or hospitality environments desirableQualifications in food and beverage, first aid and responsible serving of alcohol desiredAbility to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory capabilitiesHold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children CheckPreparedness to be versatile regarding working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis AustraliaWhat's to love?
