When Rick Shores opened on the sands of Burleigh Heads in ****, we knew we'd found somewhere pretty special.
Right on the water, with the beach at our feet and the Gold Coast stretching out in front, it is the kind of iconic setting that makes a meal feel like more than a meal.
Ten years on, the view hasn't changed, and neither has the feeling of sitting here, with the salty sea breeze rolling in, waves crashing on the shore and good food on the table.
And when the sun starts to go down, the view only gets better.

Many of our Sous Chefs have gone onto Head Chef roles, some within our group and some outside.
Our brigade is made up of many passionate people, all coming together for the shared reason of great food experience for each and every guest.
Operating across seven days, both services, our kitchen never sleeps and on any given service we will run a 15 plus brigade for service.
Your role as Sous Chef will be to act as operational lead under the direction of the Head Chef and you will have accountability for tasks such as rostering, ordering,



supplier relationships, training and more.
In your new role as Sous Chef have the opportunity to contribute to the menu and your exposure to leading high volume, fast paced premium dining venue's will stand you in good stead.
