Locations: Victoria and New South Wales - one position in each state
n Salary: Up to $95,000-$100,000 + super, depending on experience
n Employment: Permanent, full-time

An established IT services provider is seeking two Systems Support Engineers to provide hands-on technical and infrastructure support across major hotel environments, including Sofitel, Novotel and ibis.
n
This customer-facing role requires strong Level 2 support experience, excellent communication skills and practical knowledge of VMware and Active Directory.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Provide Level 2 technical support across Windows desktop and server environments.
n
Administer Active Directory users, groups, permissions and Group Policy.
n
Support and maintain VMware virtualised environments.
n
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and infrastructure issues.
n
Maintain servers, workstations, switches, firewalls and related equipment.
n
Monitor backups, system logs, antivirus protection and security patching.
n
Assist with network upgrades, ISP migrations, VLANs and switch configuration.
n
Liaise professionally with hotel teams, vendors and service providers.
n
Maintain accurate technical documentation, asset registers and support records.
n
Follow ITIL,



change management and IT governance processes.

Skills and experience
n
n
At least three years' experience in Level 2 IT support, systems administration or infrastructure support.
n
Hands-on VMware experience.
n
Strong Active Directory and Windows administration skills.
n
Experience supporting Windows Server and desktop environments.
n
Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, routing and firewalls.
n
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
n
Fluent verbal and written communication.
n
Confidence supporting technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
n
n
Experience in hospitality, managed services or another multi-site environment will be highly regarded. Microsoft, VMware, ITIL or CCNA certifications would be beneficial.
