Pilloni is a Sardinian inspired restaurant in West End, recognised among Australia's Top 100 restaurants.

We are currently looking for an experienced Section Waiter or Waitress to join our front of house team.
n
This role is suited to someone who is confident running their own section, understands professional restaurant service, and enjoys creating a genuine connection with guests.

About the role
n
You will be responsible for managing your own section from start to finish, including:
n

Welcoming and looking after guests throughout their experience
n
Taking food and beverage orders confidently and accurately
n
Managing multiple tables during busy services
n
Explaining dishes, ingredients and menu concepts
n
Recommending and upselling wine, cocktails and additional courses naturally
n
Maintaining excellent communication with the kitchen and floor team
n
Resetting and preparing your section efficiently
n
Handling guest requests and dietary requirements professionally
n
Delivering consistently polished, attentive service
n

What we are looking for
n
n




Minimum 2 years experience in a quality restaurant environment preferred
n
Strong experience running your own section
n
Excellent communication and guest service skills
n
Valuable food and wine knowledge
n
Confident with upselling without being pushy
n
Ability to remain calm and organised during busy services
n
Reliable, professional and well presented
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Valid Queensland RSA
n
Availability across evenings and weekends
n
n
Experience in Italian restaurants, premium casual dining, fine dining or high volume quality restaurants will be highly regarded.
n
This is not an entry level position.
n
We are specifically looking for someone who already understands section service and can confidently take responsibility for their tables from the beginning of service through to payment.
