My Care Keeper is currently seeking a
Proficient-level or above Behaviour Support Practitioner
, approved by the
NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
, to join our growing team.
About You: n
Ideal candidates should have:
n
n
Current NDIS suitability at the Proficient level
or above (as confirmed by the NDIS Commission).
n
Experience in
report writing
, especially developing NDIS Behaviour Support Plans.
n
Proficiency with NDIS reporting systems and case management software.
n
Previous experience
mentoring or supervising
Behaviour Support Practitioners.
n
Solid
time management
and organisational skills.
n
The ability to work
independently
,
collaboratively
, and in a
leadership capacity
.
n
A deep passion for supporting people with disability and a commitment to ethical practice.
n
Responsibilities: n
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be:
n
n
Developing personalised




Comprehensive and Interim Behaviour Support Plans
.
n
Conducting
Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
using various evidence-based tools.
n
Implement strategies and interventions keeping the holistic well-being of the participants in focus.
n
Working closely with families, carers, and other stakeholders to improve participant outcomes.
n
Mentoring and supervising
Core-level Behaviour Support Practitioners.
n
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and ethical guidelines and all work aligns with
NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
standards.
n
Accurately documenting restrictive practices and maintaining thorough
case notes
.
n
Monitoring participant progress through effective
data collection and analysis
.
n
Delivering
training and skill-building support
for participants and their teams.
n
Qualifications: n
Relevant qualifications in Allied Health/ Psychology/ counselling, developmental education or related fields (Master's and above preferred).
n
Australian Driver's license (Open C class).
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
n
Working with Children Check clearance
n
Police Clearance Certificate (not less than 6 months old).
