About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant in a full-time capacity. You will have a robust technical foundation and will be looking for increased responsibility for managing clients, supervising junior staff, and providing advisory services to our valued clients.

This is a pivotal role to take on a leadership position in a supportive and professional environment.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for a diverse client portfolio
- Supervise BAS and IAS preparation and lodgement programs
- Provide advice on tax matters including CGT, FBT and Division 7A etc
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and tax legislation
- Liaise and be the point of contact with clients
- Conduct tax planning and meetings with clients




- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff on technical matters

What we're looking for

- Manage a portfolio of client's and manage workflow independently
- Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and problem solving ability
- Be professional, personable and have a positive attitude
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- You have 5+ years experience within an Australian accounting firm
- Experience with Xero, BGL and/or FYI software preferred
