Naracoorte Health Service, a rural healthcare provider in South Australia's Limestone Coast region, is seeking an experienced Dual Registered Nurse and Midwife to join its maternity and acute ward team. This is a full-time contract role commencing 6 October 2026 for a minimum of three months, with the possibility of extension. In office accommodation is provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a supportive rural health service while maintaining flexibility in their commitment.

- Work across both maternity and acute ward settings, bringing your dual registration to a collaborative rural team

Preferred Requirements





- Current dual registration as both a Registered Nurse and Midwife
- Demonstrated experience in maternity care and midwifery practice
- Solid acute nursing experience with the ability to manage ward-based patients
- Flexibility and confidence working across both maternity and acute environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as both a Registered Nurse and Midwife
- Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Midwifery, or equivalent qualifications
- Current immunisations and a valid Working With Children Check (or equivalent) as required by South Australian health services
