We're excited to welcome an Administration Officer to our Maternal Fetal Medicine and Maternity Outpatients Department.

The Administration Officer provides a high level of confidential administrative support for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. This position is a prime point of contact for internal communication on a daily basis and externally with various departments and agencies.

This position operates with a high degree of teamwork in performing the duties of each department whilst maintaining open channels of communication with other services within the SCHHS. This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Maternal Fetal Medicine service and assisting Maternity Outpatients. Duties include reception; booking of follow-up appointments; Medicare billing; referral management, appointment confirmation; inputting high volume data; managing internal waiting lists; and assisting with Outpatient clinic schedules.

Key Responsibilities include:

- This position requires you to adhere to National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Safe Care Framework, which has been developed in collaboration with staff, consumers and key stakeholders to enable our vision of health and wellbeing through person-centred care.
- Referral Management and Patient File/Chart Preparation




- Exercise judgement when necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined.
- Provide high-quality, confidential and efficient administrative support across Maternal Fetal Medicine and Maternity Outpatients teams.

Remuneration value up to $76 336 p.a, comprising salary rates $41.17 - $45.79 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (part time position available, 56 hrs p.f.).
