Who is Greenhouse Collective

The Greenhouse Collective is the home team for creatives, designers, and production-focused craftspeople within the Woolworths Group. As part of the Brand and Marketing team, we are a center of creative excellence, powered by a collective of internal team members and agency partners who support the Woolworths Group Brand & Marketing practitioners in applying their craft and capabilities to solve and achieve goals.

What you’ll do

We are looking for a Video Editor to join our creative team. This role sits within the Greenhouse Collective, the internal creative powerhouse of the Woolworths Group. As a Video/Content Editor, you will be responsible for assembling and finishing high-quality video and motion content that captivates our audience and meets strategic objectives.

You will transform raw footage and creative concepts into compelling narratives for various digital platforms and marketing campaigns. Your passion for storytelling, technical expertise, and creative flair will be instrumental in elevating our brand's visual communication and contributing to the Greenhouse Collective’s ambition to be the most insightful and connected creative force in retail.

Key responsibilities include:

- Edit a diverse range of video content, including social media assets, brand stories, product showcases, internal communications, and marketing campaign videos, from concept through to final delivery.
- Collaborate closely with producers, directors, art directors, designers, copywriters, and other stakeholders to understand project goals, creative vision, and storytelling requirements.
- Assemble and edit raw footage, ensuring logical sequencing and smooth narrative flow, applying a strong sense of pacing and rhythm.




- Integrate motion graphics, visual effects, typography, music, sound effects, and voice-overs to enhance video content and align with brand standards.
- Perform color correction and grading to achieve a consistent and high-quality visual aesthetic.
- Ensure all video content is optimized for various platforms (e.g., social media channels, web, internal platforms), adhering to specific technical specifications and best practices.
- Manage and organize video project files, raw footage, and related assets meticulously, ensuring productive workflows and easy retrieval.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks on all edited content to ensure accuracy, technical soundness, and alignment with brand guidelines before final delivery.
- Stay current with the latest video editing techniques, software advancements, digital trends, and industry best practices to continuously improve quality and efficiency.
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Provide creative input and solutions during pre-production and post-production phases.

What you’ll bring

- 3-5+ years of professional experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating a high level of technical skill, creative flair, and storytelling ability across a range of content types.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and strong skills in Adobe After Effects.
- Solid understanding of the full post-production pipeline, including media management, encoding, and delivery.
- Proficient in color correction and grading techniques.
- Strong knowledge of video formats, codecs, frame rates, aspect ratios, and audio mastering for various platforms.
- A keen eye for detail, with exceptional skills in pacing, timing, and building narrative tension or engagement.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate concepts into compelling visual stories.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills,



with the ability to work effectively within a creative team environment and receive/implement feedback constructively.
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges independently.
- Adaptable and resourceful, with a passion for creating engaging video content.

Desireable

- Experience with other editing software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
- Basic sound design and audio mixing skills beyond simple track laying.
- Familiarity with camera equipment and on-set production processes.
- Understanding of content trends across different social media platforms.
